Department of Electricals & Electronics

cse

EEE
Electrical engineering involves in designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment. The broad field of electrical engineering involves working with all manners of electronic devices, from pocket calculators to supercomputers. Often overlapping with other engineering can open up the door to a technical career in almost any industry. Since technology is always changing and expanding, there is a need for electrical engineers.

Like any other kind of scientist, electrical engineers must also know how to communicate their ideas to others in their field. A successful electrical engineer possesses not only an understanding of his area of concentration, but also a broad grasp of engineering in general. Electrical engineering students learn through a combination of design and lab work. This allows students to think and then apply their ideas in a variety of real life situations. Students also learn to diagnose problems and develop a variety of solutions. A typical electrical engineering curriculum spans the math and science worlds. Many programs include the following courses:
  • Integrated circuits and
  • solid state devices
  • Robotics
  • Power systems
  • Communications systems
  • Computer Hardware Design
  • & Manufacturing

COURSE OBJECTIVES & FACILITIES
The course provides classroom and laboratory instruction on the prerequisites for a career in electrical engineering, including theory and the basic science. This is a 4year course for students willing to learn more about Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Electrical Machines, Control Systems and Electro Magnetics. Students learn Designing, Testing, maintenance of Power systems and electrical equipment. They also receive theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical hardware and information – oriented electrical engineering, including a variety of opportunities for specialized further study.

The EEE department has been active in teaching and research since its inception. Presently the department has a team of highly qualified, experienced, dedicated, young and dynamic personalities as faculty with an ability to provide quality education. The department has the motto to raise the level of this institution as “Center of Excellence” in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

The department is fully established with excellent laboratories and competent staff. Departmental library has 250 volumes and National & International Journals.
